Wick Video is back!

Back in January of 2016, I stepped aside from Wick Video to join Sticker Mule. This was the right decision for me at the time and I am so grateful for the experience and everything I learned. But after 6 and a half years of helping grow Sticker Mule, I’ve returned to rebuild Wick Video.

While I’m proud of the work we did at Wick Video from 2012-2016, I’m confident that I’ll be able to build a much stronger company this time around.

Here are 3 areas I plan to change and improve the company.

Better quality

I’m making Wick Video a 100% remote company. By working remotely, we’ll be able to hire the best creators in the world.

While going remote has become more popular in the last couple years, Sticker Mule has been doing it since 2010. Working in a healthy remote-first environment like that has given me firsthand experience at managing a team across different states, time zones, and countries.

Without geographical limitations, we will be able to build a stronger team than ever before. If you’re interested in joining, fill out the form here.

Better technology

We’ve always relied on technology to create videos, but now we’ll be investing more resources into building technology.

I’ve been building some of these tools already in my spare time. These (along with others in the pipeline) will give us a strong foundation to improve production.

Better scale

Finally, I will be shifting the company to focus on more scalable projects.

I will share more details soon, but the gist of it is this:

We’ll still make videos that explain stuff better, but instead of one-off videos, we will prioritize ongoing projects. For our clients, this will mean better service and communication. For our team, this will mean more time and resources. And, ultimately, this will lead to better videos.

I am currently designing a service that will specifically help companies explain benefits to their employees. If you are interested in learning more email jeremy@wickvideo.com.

I am very excited to start this new journey!
